What kind of tablet should I use?
You can use an iPad or iPad Mini, you'll just want to make sure they are newer tablets and running the latest version of iOS. For example, you would not want to use an old iPad 2 that can't run iOS 15.
Android tablets will work as well. Generally we tend to see that the tablets that cost less than $150 don't sync great, but pretty much anything over $150 should be fine. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is a popular choice with our customers.
We recommend staying away from Kindle and Fire tablets, as they are not very good in terms of performance. They are lower-end devices designed for more consumers reading ebooks and playing simple games. The app is available on them because they use the Android platform, but syncing between devices is not as fast with Kindles & Fire tablets because Amazon doesn't use the Google Play store. The Google Play store has a better push notification system which we use for more efficiency. If anything, they could be used for places with low volume who only need one tablet.
