Text messages show a wait estimate of 0 minutes
The estimate in the text message is determined by staff when they add a guest to the waitlist. If your guests are receiving a wait estimate of "0" then there are two possible reasons it is happening.
The most common reason is that your guest used the the Add Yourself feature to join your waitlist and was automatically added (without any action taken by you or your staff). When you have auto-approve turned "On" there is no chance for your staff to quote a wait time before the party is added to the list, so the variable will always show as ‘0’ in the confirmation text message sent to your guests added via the widget.
If you want to keep the estimated wait time in the confirmation text, then you should turn off auto-approve for the waitlist. As each request gets approved by a staff member, they can assign an estimated wait which will then be included in the confirmation text sent to your guests. You can change this setting in the Add Yourself section of the settings, under Confirmation & Approval.
If you would like to keep auto-approve turned on but no longer want '0' to appear in the text messages, you would want to edit your notifications to remove the [estimate] variable. You can do that online under Account > Settings > Notifications, or in the app under the gear icon > Customization > Notifications.
The second possibility is that one of your devices used for checking parties in has the wait time quote in the Adding Customers settings turned off. In that case as well there is no wait time provided so the estimate variable in your text message would show "0". You can either turn this setting back on by clicking the gear icon > Customization > Adding Customers > Wait Time Quotes and selecting either 5 mins or Last time quoted (refers to the default starting position of the wait time quote selector) or as mentioned above, you can opt to remove the [estimate] variable from your notification message altogether.
