Phone numbers are not saving
If customer's phone numbers are not saving as you enter them into the app, your device is not connecting to our server properly. Here are a few things you can try:
- Log out of the app, turn the device off then back on, and log back in. Devices need to be turned off occasionally in order to function correctly.
- If you share WiFi with customers, that can cause the router to drop IP addresses as new devices come online, which can kick your tablet off of WiFi multiple times. We suggest not using the same WiFi that you share with customers.
- If a device is having internet connectivity issues, it may not be obvious since the app will queue tasks in the background. Try using the service from the tablet's browser at www.waitlist.me, where it will be obvious if the tablet isn't connecting.
- If you have used the service for awhile, try deleting and reinstalling the app when you aren't busy. This can clear out any old data that may have gotten stuck.
- Make sure you're running your device's latest OS. For example, an iPad running iOS 9.3.5 will likely not sync in real time, as Apple no longer supports that iOS.
If you have tried these things and are still seeing syncing issues, please use the Report Issue feature in the app on all of the devices you are using so we can check the device logs and troubleshoot. That can be found under the gear icon > Help > Report Issue.
